Ms Penny Low

Ms Penny Low was the youngest elected female MP in Singapore, representing Pasir Ris - Punggol GRC since 2001. She served in Government Parliamentary Committee for Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports. Penny is the Vice-chairman of the North East CDC, Vice-President of Consumers Association of Singapore, Chairperson of CaseTrust Advisory Council, Advisor to Natsteel Employees Union and the Small and Medium Enterprise Outreach Group, a member of the Parliamentary Chinese Community Liaison Commitee, the Global Voice Editorial Advisory Board of Financial Planning, and the Governing Council of Singapore Institute of Management (SIM).







Penny is the Founder and President of the non-profit Social Innovation Park Ltd, as well as the Planners-Hub Consultancy.







Penny graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics and Sociology. She is also a Chartered Financial Practitioner.







Penny has traversed 50+ countries and was honoured as a founding member of the prestigious "Forum of Young Global Leaders" in 2005 and a "New Asian Leader" in 2004,by the Geneva-based World Economic Forum.







Penny is the first Singaporean amongst 18 being selected from 970 global applicants for Yale World Fellows in 2007 for a 4 month leadership program in the world renowned Yale University.
